Practicing the Presence: Worship

Matt Nations, Yehudi Jaquez, Justin Davis

Explore the deep roots of worship in this breakout session. Worship doesn’t begin on Sunday morning at 9 or 11 am; it starts when you wake up desiring coffee and eggs. Worship doesn’t end when the announcements start on Sunday morning. Worship is a lifestyle, and Romans 12:1 reminds us it has nothing to do with music. Sunday morning is simply a reflection of what our worship looked like throughout the week.

Yehudi Jaquez is a disciple-maker who is passionate about Worship. When not serving as the AVL Director, you’ll find him creating music and writing songs. The last book Yehudi read was The Reset by Jeremy Riddle and if he could live anywhere in the world for a year, he would choose Tokyo.

Justin Davis is a disciple-maker who is passionate about worship and production. When not leading worship, you’ll find Justin building lego, playing Destiny, fishing, fifth wheeling with the family, and smoking meat. The last book Justin read was Winning the War in Your Mind by Craig Groeschel, and if he could live anywhere in the world for a year, he would choose Japan's countryside.
