The Riverside Church Jail Ministry exists to bring the hope, truth, and transforming love of Jesus to individuals currently incarcerated at Ortiz County Jail. Through weekly Bible studies inside Ortiz Jail, our team walks alongside both the male and female populations as they explore Scripture, ask meaningful questions, and grow in their relationship with Christ. Guided by our calling to make and send disciples, we enter the facility with a simple purpose: to plant seeds of hope and help each person build a lifechanging relationship with Jesus.

In partnership with the jail chaplain and his staff, we also support the reading resource program by fulfilling requests for Bibles, other religious materials, selfhelp materials, and leisure reading options. Every book delivered is another opportunity to encourage spiritual growth, emotional healing, and personal transformation. As individuals begin to follow Jesus and be changed by Him, we encourage them to share their faith with others inside the facility, continuing the mission of Jesus
